AWKWARD SITUATIONS FOR MEN/WRIGHT VS. WRONG (ABC) – Both comedy pilots are reportedly being reshot with an eye towards potential midseason commitments. Debra Messing toplined the latter project, about a conservative pundit and her staff. Stephanie Weir created the Sony Pictures Television/Tantamount-based half-hour, which was supervised by Betsy Thomas. A new showrunner however will be brought in. British comedian Danny Wallace then starred in the former, about his transition from the U.K. to the U.S. with his American wife (Laura Prepon). Wallace himself co-wrote the Warner Bros. Television/Heyday Films-based project alongside Jackie and Jeff Filgo.

Last year, 1,600 guests took part in the Grand Tasting, and this year it jumped to 2,300, more than double the first one four years ago. It was a who’s who of the culinary world that included the fabulous French foursome of Joel Robuchon, Guy Savoy, Pierre Gagnaire and Alain Ducasse, all of whom have restaurants here. Matt Goss, Rick Faugno, Chazz Palminteri, Laura Prepon, Rita Rudner, Miss USA Kristen Dalton, Nathan Burton, George Maloof and Johnny Weir also attended. Other chefs included Bradley Ogden, Bobby Flay, Charlie Palmer, Hubert Keller, Francois Payard, Julian Serrano, Steve Martorano, Akira Back, Luciano Pellegrini, Carla Pellegrino, Rick Moonen, Alex Stratta, Jet Tila, Rene Lenger, Kim Canteenwalla and many more.

So far, I haven’t seen any photos of Laura at the event, but if I do find some – I will be sure to add them here!

BIO Channel’s #1 series continues to explore the paranormal world through the deeply personal stories of our favorite stars in season two of “Celebrity Ghost Stories.” Each episode will feature celebrities’ real life encounters with the paranormal; from deeply emotional and revealing encounters with departed loved ones to run-ins with angry spirits in haunted spaces. In each episode of “Celebrity Ghost Stories,” viewers will see several first-person celebrity narratives by respected actors, musical artists, and athletes. Cinematic recreations bring to life the personal accounts of stars who believe they have experienced the other side and their narrations quite often reveal a side to the celebrity that has never been made public. Season two stories include: Billy Baldwin, Joan Collins, Alice Cooper, Michael Imperioli, Shirley Jones, Jermaine Jackson, Marilyn Manson, Laura Prepon, Matthew Settle, Karina Smirnoff, Michael Urie and Marissa Jaret Winokour.

Medium: Laura Prepon (“That ’70s Show”) guest stars on a new episode of the supernatural drama (9 p.m. CBS).

After her great guest work on “House” and “Mad Men,” I’m an Anne Dudek fan. That’s why I was pleased to learn she’ll be guest starring on “How I Met Your Mother” March 22, along with returning guest star Laura Prepon. (As Lee pointed out in comments, Dudek guested on “HIMYM” in 2005.)

There is no more information about the episode yet, but I’ll be sure to post any more news or photos when I come across them!

“Awkward Situations For Men” by Danny Wallace follows a famous British on-air personality as he moves to America and finds his everyday behavior clashes with American values. Wallace plays the lead. Also cast: Tony Hale (“Chuck”), Matt Letscher (“Entourage”) and Laura Prepon (“That ’70s Show” and “October Road”), pictured at left. It is written and produced by Jeff Filgo and Jackie Filgo, of “Hank” and “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” and will be a show with both multi-camera and single-camera elements.

The network has not announced the shows they will pick up for the 2010-2011 season – but let’s keep hoping that show will be apart of the lineup!

“Situations” stars British on-air personality Wallace as himself as he moves to the U.S. with wife Meg (Prepon), only to discover that his everyday behavior clashes with American values and gets him into trouble. Meg works at a smoothie shop for a boss (Matt Letscher) with whom she once had a fling.
